Chunks & Bits Workspace

Your space to think out loud before you commit to anything.

Before you start

Get it out of your head and into the open

You've written your objective. You know what your audience needs to be able to do by the end of your presentation. Now it's time to ask a different question: what could you include to get them there?

This workspace is for thinking, not finishing. Nothing you put here is final. There's no right order yet, no pressure to have it all figured out. The goal right now is simply to empty your head onto the board — every topic, story, statistic, example, or question that might belong in this presentation. You can sort it later. First, just get it down.

1

Brainstorm

Add a sticky note for anything that could go into your presentation. Colour-code however helps you think. Don't filter yet.

2

Organise

Switch to Organise mode. Drag each note by its tape into one of the four chunk zones. Name your chunks as the groupings emerge.

3

Copy & continue

Use the Copy button to export your chunks and bits as structured text, then paste it into the Design Template coming up next.

Keep your objective in view. As you brainstorm, keep asking: does this help my audience achieve the objective I wrote? If not, it might belong in a different presentation. Being selective now saves you from overloading your chunks later.
